Instructions and Help about Champva id card lost

Music. Hi, I'm Jonathan and this is Connecting Vets. Veterans are losing TRICARE dental insurance at the end of this year, but don't worry because you can get insurance through the Federal Employee Dental and Vision Insurance Program, also called FEDVIP. However, there are a few things that you need to know about this. First, open enrollment for FEDVIP begins on November 12th and runs through December 10th. This is very important because in the past TRICARE users could change coverage throughout the year, but you won't be able to do this with FEDVIP. Future changes are only allowed with a qualifying life event, such as getting married, gaining or losing a family member, or losing other dental insurance. You can look at current FEDVIP plans now, but the new details and premium rates won't be released until October. If you're undergoing treatment that won't finish this year and your new plan doesn't cover the same treatment, you won't be covered. If you're retiring this year, there is an extra step in this process for you. You need to enroll in TRICARE's retiree dental plan now and then select a new FEDVIP plan during open enrollment. Remember, if you don't do anything this year, you won't have dental insurance. TRICARE dental insurance doesn't roll over into another plan on January 1st. If...
